Any programmers here?

I used to be a programmer when I was working. Retired now. Fell in love (with programming) during the challenge of helping a friend find a bug in a very complicated Fortran program in college way back. Had never written a program before that. Miss it now. How about you?

I don't how to put this but I'm unaware of my own feelings. Don't get a misconception here, I'm not referring to love stories (~>o<~)
it's like when im doing it, i feel tired and think gotta get rid of it for netflix so, but then during netflix binge watching session, i feel so guilty that i didnt spend my time a lot with it, even it's a problem that need to solve or just debugging, make some crap. I feel joy of doing it. In the end, i don't know what's the reasons for doing programming

There are at least two reasons I like it. I like any kind of puzzle to solve. Second, it's the power. I'm thinking in terms of mathematical calculations. A little 4 line program can solve a problem it would take a thousand years to do by hand. (Edited my previous post to clarify I didn't fall in love with my friend :) )
